India's one of the famous Directors Shankar is going to begin his new project of the Telugu version of 3 Idiots in December as he had already got the call sheet of Mahesh Babu. After the success of Enthiran, Director Shankar has moved on to his next project. The film is a remake of Rajkumar Hirani’s 3 Idiots titled has 3 Rascals. As per latest reports Mahesh babu will be playing the lead role in the movie, which was played by Aamir Khan in the original.
It’s now official that Director Shankar’s next film would be remake of 3 Idiots which will be titled has 3 Rascals. 3 Rascals will be produced by producers of Gemini Film Circuit, who as distributed the Hindi version Robot. At the much talked about premiere in Mumbai, Shankar was seen in conversation with the 3 Idiots team of director Raju Hirani, producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Aamir Khan.
Shankar wanted Madhavan to play the role he had done in the original, but the actor has made it clear that he will not be a part of it. Telugu actress Ileana will be the female lead which was acted by Kareena Kapoor. 3 Rascals music will be scored by Harris Jayaraj who has earlier scored music for Shankar film aparichithudu in 2005 . 3 Rascals cinematographer will be Manoj Paramahamsa who shot into fame with his work in Vinnauthaandi Varuvaayaa. Incidentally, Manoj earlier worked in Eeram which was produced by Shankar.
